The silly season is in full swing at the Cableway with our wonderful line-up of performers to keep you entertained at the Lower Cable Station.

This is our busiest time of year and to ensure that all our visitors enjoy their Table Mountain experience – while lining up to buy Cableway tickets or waiting to board a cable car – we've lined up several talented people to keep you entertained.

Our special guests, so far, have included Father Christmas and his Fairy – who paid a visit to the mountain on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Our young visitors posed for photos, enjoyed colourful face painting and received special gifts from this festive duo.

Our master of ceremonies, Hilton Carelse, is your go-to man for information and entertainment between 10am and 2pm until 1 January 2017.

In addition, buskers will amaze everyone with their face painting and magic tricks daily while the Cape Town Carnival’s colourful characters will leave you mesmerised today and on Friday, 30 December 2016.

The Siyabuyama Marimba Band returns to the Cableway tomorrow and on 31 December 2016, and again on New Year’s Day. They also kept everyone tapping their toes on 26 and 27 December 2016.
