September is always an exciting month for us at the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, as we celebrate two very important days. The first is of course, Heritage Day on 24 September, followed by World Tourism Day on 27 September.
As part of our celebrations, the Cableway is highlighting the importance of responsible tourism and sustainability. We continually strive to uphold our environmental, social and economic responsibility to ensure we continue the incredible legacy of our natural wonder in the best way possible.
Just some of our efforts include water and waste management, reducing our CO2 emissions, cutting our energy costs, backing several CSI programmes, and more.
Another way we’re celebrating is through our Kidz Season special, which is still running until 30 September. So there’s still plenty of time to treat your little ones to a free ride up the mountain. The special will be available the entire long weekend, which includes Monday, 25 September, so we hope to see you all there!
The offer gives two children a free ride with every paying adult, and includes a fun treasure hunt map and special treats at the Table Mountain Café and Shop at the Top.
