In celebration of World Environment Day on Friday, 5 June, we invited a group of grammers to brave icy temperatures for a sunrise Instawalk on top of Table Mountain.
Igers soaked up the sun with beautiful views and a guided walk of the mountain, where we shared the story of Table Mountain and the Cableway, our responsible tourism initiatives, and fun facts about our fauna and flora. Here are a few of our favourite #ResponsibleCableway posts shared on Instagram:
Table Mountain National Park is home to about 2,000 species of plants - more than the entire British Isles. There is a specie of plants on TM that can burn you like boiling water and I almost had my nose burnt by wanting to smell it because I thought it was parsley(pff). There are no signs by the plant to avoid human curiosity said Lionel.
