In a first for the Cableway, the May Madness Flash Sale is our way of honouring our local visitors. Only South Africans, 18 years and older, with valid IDs, will be eligible to book these limited sale tickets.

We know that you’re excited to get your hands on these tickets so here are some FAQs to help you make the most of your Cableway May Madness Flash Sale experience:

General:

 

What’s the May Day Madness flash sale offer?

For one day only, until the limited number of tickets are sold out, adult return tickets can be purchased at R100, on the condition that a valid ID number is entered. These tickets are available via a special online link that will appear in the promotional material on the Cableway’s Facebook page on the day that the May Madness Flash Sale goes live.

How long is the special May Madness tickets valid for?

The Cableway’s May Madness sale tickets are valid for 7 days from the date it is purchased for i.e. 27 May until 2 June 2019.

How does the flash sale ticket booking work?

When we announce that the May Madness Flash Sale is open, we will provide a special link to purchase these tickets via our Facebook page. Visitors will have to click on this link only in order to access the May Madness Flash Sale tickets. Flash Sale tickets are not available on the general Cableway rates page or the Webtickets page.

How many tickets are limited per visitor?

Visitors can purchase up to four May Madness Flash Sale Tickets per purchase on the condition that four individual SA ID numbers are entered when booking these tickets.

Can I use the May Day Madness ticket in conjunction with other Cableway specials?

No, you may not use the May Madness ticket in conjunction with other Cableway specials

Can I get an extension on the flash sale ticket if I do not use it within the 7-day validity?

There are no extensions given on Cableway tickets. If you cannot use the May Madness Flash sale ticket, then please  request a refund by sending an email to refunds@tablemountain.net within the 7 day validity period of the tickets (27 May to 2 June 2019).

I’ve purchased my tickets. How long before I receive them?

You will receive the May Madness tickets once payment has cleared. 

Will I receive a confirmation email when my tickets have been booked and will my tickets be attached to them?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email once your tickets have been booked that contains a link to view your tickets.

I don’t have a printer at home. Will I be able to collect my May Day Madness tickets at Pick n Pay Webticket outlets?

No, they will not be available at the Pick n Pay Webtickets outlets. You may collect your ticket at the Cableway Ticket Office only. Please bring along your transaction reference number or proof on your phone.

Ticket booking issues:

Your site has crashed. How long will it take before it is back up and I can purchase my sale tickets?

My session has timed out, mid ticket buying. What should I do now?

Please log back in – the tickets will still be there in your basket.

I’ve come to the checkout page but the site has thrown me out. Are my tickets booked or do I need to restart the process and if so, what stops the site from throwing me out again?

I booked two tickets and they have not been issued but my credit card statement shows you’ve tripled charged me for them. Will you be refunding the extra charge and how long will the refund take?

I managed to get onto the special booking link but you’re charging me normal Cableway ticket prices. Can you please assist?

Please double check the ticket that you’ve selected is the May Madness Flash Sale ticket.

Yes, you can access the normal Cableway Tickets’ booking page here. There’s no need for you to click on the May Madness Flash Sale link.
