Spoil your family with our 3-for-1 Kidz Season Special this Heritage Day Weekend.

Make this long Heritage weekend an amazing family outing by visiting at the Cableway and taking advantage of our 3-for-1 Kidz Season special!

It is the best deal around, which sees two kids ride the cable car for free with every paying adult who has a valid SA ID.

Available until 24 September 2018, you can book this offer online or purchase tickets at our Ticket Office on the day of your visit.

Visiting us without your little ones? Bring your valid SA ID along for one of our other incredible specials for locals:

Birthday Special:

This special is for SA residents with valid IDs, so this is a friendly reminder to collect your free Cableway ticket from our Visitor Information Centre or Ticket Office on the day of your birthday and up to 7 days thereafter.

Seniors:

Grandparents, aunts and uncles pay only R100 for a return ticket seven days a week with this special!  Valid to South African senior citizens over the age of 60, this deal can only be purchased from the Lower Station Ticket Office.

Students:

Every Friday, local and international students pay just R131 for a return Cableway ticket. This deal is also only available from the Lower Station Ticket Office upon presentation of valid student card for students.

A few tips to make the most of your Heritage Day visit to the Cableway:

  • Check the weather and our operational status: Keen to know what the weather is like on top of Table Mountain or to see whether we are open or not? Visit our homepage, call our weather line on +27(0)21 424 8181, email us using info@tablemountain.net or follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates.
  • Dress appropriately: Remember, it is at least four degrees cooler at the summit, so bring along a jacket or scarf and wear non-slippery shoes.
  • Park and ride: Hop onboard our free park and ride shuttle service from the Lower Tafelberg Road parking lot and avoid those traffic and parking woes.
