#WomensMonth: meet Tina Roberts, the Cableway’s superstar payroll administrator
We’re all about our Cableway Superstars, so it’s only fitting to wind down Women’s Month by chatting to our payroll administrator, Tina Roberts!
Here’s what Tina has to say about her Cableway journey and working at our leading tourist attraction:
When did you join the Cableway?
I started as a temp in January 2019 and became a permanent employee on 13 February 2019.
What has your experience been like so far working at the Cableway?
It’s been amazing! The culture and staff are incredible.
What are you reading and listening to at the moment?
I like reading romance novels, and my music interests are vast, so it tends to depend on the mood I’m in. I do love my old-school R&B.
What is the most adventurous experience you’ve had so far?
I went ziplining in Ceres.
What is your favourite pastime?
Reading, watching TV and just relaxing ... anything to give my brain a break.
What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learnt about the Cableway since you started working here?
The history behind the cable cars.
Which items could you never do without, should you get stuck on top of the mountain?
Books to read so I don’t get bored, my glasses and contact lenses, and my phone.
What is the one song that is guaranteed to get you on the dance floor at the staff party?
Anything by Missy Elliott.
