Are babies and pregnant women allowed to travel on the cable car? Your awe-inspiring answer is available on our blog!

Our #AsktheCableway weekly blog posts are back and this week, we're answering an important question: "Are babies and pregnant women allowed to travel on the cable car?"

The simple and awe-inspiring answer is: yes, we welcome visitors of all ages, shapes and sizes on our state-of-the-art cable cars!

Having said that, here are a few things to consider before boarding:

- Come prepared: Parents, we recommend you bring along a pacifier for your little ones, as it will also relieve the change in air pressure their eardrums will experience.

- Doctor's approval: Moms-to-be, as with all activities, please check with your doctor that you are physically fine to travel.

- Book your tickets online: Children under four ride free but, for older children, we recommend booking our awesome 3-for-1 Kidz Season special. Valid to adults with a valid SA ID, the special allows two kids to ride for free with every paying adult. This incredible deal is available until 24 September 2018.

- Dress warmly: The Cableway's operations are weather dependent and temperatures are generally cooler at the top of Table Mountain. Moms and babies, remember to bundle up!

We cannot wait to see you!
