Return Fast Track ticket:
Return Fast Track ticket can be purchased at the Cableway’s Lower Station Ticket Office.
The cost per return ticket is R1100, valid from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026, both for adults and children.
Up and Down Fast Track ticket:
Up only Fast Track can be purchased at the Ticket Office at the Lower Station and Down Fast Track can only be purchased at the Top Station Ticket Office.
Tickets are not linked to any specific time slots.
One way Fast Track ticket is R700, valid from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026 - not available online and can only be bought at the Cableway's Lower or Top Station Ticket Office.
Birthday Fast Track upgrade ticket:
Birthday upgrade tickets are not available online and can only be bought at the Cableway’s Lower or Top Station Ticket Offices.
This offer is only available to South African citizens with a 13-digit barcode identity number.
The Birthday Fast Track upgrade rate for Adult Return is R610, valid from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026.
The Birthday Fast Track upgrade rate for Adult One way is R405.
Birthday tickets upgrade prices differ for Adult and Child.
Birthday Fast Track Upgrade for Child Return is R850.00
Birthday Fast Track Upgrade for Children One way is R540.00
Standard Tickets Fast Track upgrade:
Standard tickets can be upgraded to Fast Track tickets at the Lower Station Ticket Office.
Tickets are available on the Webtickets website, and are also available at the Cableway ticket office.
We’d like to encourage you to book your tickets online before the day of your visit. This will help avoid disappointment if Fast Track tickets are sold out at the Cableway ticket office.
There is a limited daily number of tickets available per time slot.
Yes. Log into your Webtickets account, go to “My Tickets”, and select the “Upgrade” option.
Yes, Fast Track tickets are sold at a standard price. Concession tickets do not apply.
Fast Track tickets are sold as a return trip. When booking your tickets, pick your preferred time slot. You can do this at our ticket office, at the top station building.
You can also purchase a one-way Fast Tract Ticket at the Cableway's Ticket Office.
You can reschedule your ticket for another day, depending on the availability of your chosen time slot. Alternatively, you can request a refund.
Look for the yellow Fast Track entrance located near vida e caffè. Alternatively, our frontline staff at the lower station will direct you to the Fast Track entrance.
Our Fast Track representative will assign you to the next available time slot, subject to availability.
The package includes a return trip in your own, exclusive cable car at a pre-booked time of your choice.

One registered tour guide may travel for free with their group.
Yes, you can reschedule your ticket to a different date, subject to availability.
Yes, log into your Webtickets profile, go to “My Tickets” and select “Refund”.
You can also reschedule your Fast Track Ticket for another day within the 7-day period, as from the selected date.
There is no limit. However, please make sure you are down before the last cable car descends Table Mountain.
Your group will be split over two time slots. However, please contact us on 021 424 5188 so we can assist you with booking and scheduling.
Private car tickets are not available during peak times. Please see our website for details. Fast Track tickets are available year round.
