The Cableway and the festive season: What you need to know
The sun’s out, the Michael Bublé Christmas album is playing on repeat, and the crowds are flocking to visit Table Mountain – yes, the 2017/2018 festive season is well and truly underway at the Cableway!
From 24 December 2017 to 7 January 2018, we have fantastic festive season entertainment just for you, our awe-inspiring visitors.
Here is what you need to know about the festive season at the Cableway:
You can meet Father Christmas at the summit of Table Mountain:
Our VIP guests, Father Christmas and his magical fairy, will be roaming around our Lower and Upper Cable Stations, distributing gifts to good little girls and boys, and posing for photos between 11am and 1pm on Christmas Eve (24 December) and Christmas Day (25 December).
Moms and Dads, this is a Father Christmas photo op for your little ones with a difference – at the summit of a New 7 Wonder of Nature! Do not miss out!
Be enchanted by our magical buskers:
Youngsters who love magic, puppetry face painting and more will be delighted with our buskers at the Lower Station from 26 December 2017 to 7 January 2018, from 10am to 1pm daily.
Dance the day away with our Marimba Band:
Bust out your best holiday dance moves alongside our visiting Siyabuyamba Marimba Band. They will be rocking out every day from 26 December 2017 to 7 January 2018, from 10am to 3pm daily,
Say hi to Hilton Carlse, our awesome MC:
The charismatic Hilton Carlse will be entertaining you with cool facts about the Cableway, the latest news about what is happening onsite, and more from 26 December 2017 to 7 January 2018.
