A new chapter begins today at Table Mountain Aerial Cableway as we welcome Tracy Mkhize as our new Managing Director.

Tracy joins us from the Cape Town International Convention Centre, where she has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2023. Before this, she was General Manager of Operations and Food and Beverage from 2016. She has also chaired the Cape Town Tourism Board since 2023.

Tracy arrives in a meaningful month for the mountain. On 4 October, the cable car marks 97 years of transporting visitors to the top of Table Mountain making this an especially significant time to begin the next chapter.

We would like to thank Wahida Parker for her two full terms at the helm and for her leadership of the company.

As we look ahead, we are excited about the experience, insight and leadership Tracy brings to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company.

Welcome to the mountain, Tracy.
