This week in our #AsktheCableway blog series, we answer your "Can I redeem my free Birthday Ticket for the Cableway's Sunset Special and other deals?"

We know that money is too tight to mention and you're trying to save a few rands, so you're keen to use any two of the Cableway's specials for locals in conjunction with each other.

Unfortunately, our specials cannot be redeemed together.

Visitors planning on taking in our awe-inspiring sunset on the day of their birthdays are welcome to collect their free ticket at our Visitor Information Centre before 4h30pm. Encourage your friends and family to book their Sunset Special tickets online or at our Ticket Office and then join them in the faster-moving ticketholders' queue to board the cable cars.

How the free Birthday Specials works when redeeming our other specials:

• Kidz Season: When bringing your kids to enjoy our 3-for-1 Kidz Season special from April to September, please bring along another adult to qualify for the special R250 rate.
• Seniors' Special: If you are a pensioner celebrating your birthday, you will only qualify for the free Birthday Special and not the R100 Seniors' Special ticket. You also cannot transfer your Senior's Special discount to someone else.
• Students' Special: Again, you can get a free Birthday Ticket but will not qualify for the discounted Students' Special on that day.
• Cable Card: You cannot transfer your daily free return ride to another visitor nor give your free Birthday Ticket to them.
