In November 2021, the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway announced the launch of its premium Fast Track ticket, to help speed up accessibility to the Cableway during peak season.

The service offering has been a huge success and in huge demand – so much so that the Cableway is now adding to the offering to help visitors avoid long queues throughout the year.

So, what’s new?

The Cableway has now introduced an Up and Down Fast Track ticket and a Birthday Fast Track upgrade ticket, in addition to the existing Fast Track offer. Here is everything you need to know about these ticket types:

Up and Down Fast Track ticket:

• Up and Down Fast Track tickets are not available online and can only be bought at the Cableway’s lower or top station ticket offices

• The tickets are not linked to any specific time slots

• The cost per ticket is R420, both for adults and children

• Tickets are valid for one day only

With the Birthday Fast Track upgrade, you can buy a R800 premium ticket at a discounted price of R410 on any day of your birthday month, and the R390 difference is our free birthday spoil to you.

Birthday Fast Track upgrade ticket:

• This ticket option is now available

• Birthday upgrade tickets are not available online and can only be bought at the Cableway’s lower or top station ticket offices

• This offer is only available to South African citizens with a 13-digit barcode identity number

• The cost per ticket is R410 for both adults and children.
