Peak season operating hours

Our peak season operating hours from 1 December to 31 January are designed to help you make the most of your visit. The first cable car departs at 8:00 AM, with the last ride up at 8:00 PM and the final trip down at 9:00 PM. These extended hours mean you’ll have plenty of time to catch the breathtaking Cape Town sunset that everyone raves about.

Free guided walks and audio tours
Explore the mountain’s rich history and natural beauty with free guided walks and audio tours. These experiences are ideal for nature lovers and curious adventurers alike.

Free guided walks are offered from 9h00 – 15h00, on the hour and depart from the Twelve Apostles Terrace, weather permitting.

Park and Ride

With ongoing roadworks along Tafelberg Road and limited parking, we suggest that visitors make use of e-hailing services or make use of our complimentary park and ride shuttle services that regularly departs the parking lot at the bottom of Tafelberg Road.
