Music filtered through the air, people danced to the contagious melodies and every so often an entertainer shared fun facts about South Africa (like explaining what exactly a bunny chow is!) with Cableway visitors as they waited at the Lower Cable Station in anticipation of ascending Table Mountain.

The Siyabuya Marimba Band and DJ Hilton Carlse treated the crowds to South African music and international hits at the Lower Cable Station from 26 December 2019 to 5 January 2020.

While the seasonal musical festivities were underway, Father Christmas and his magical fairy also made several appearances, to the delight of many younger visitors – and their parents.
