To assist you this holiday season we have compiled a practical guide to our ticketing:

• Who is the Cableway’s official ticketing agency?

The Cableway’s official ticketing agency is WEBTICKETS. Cableway tickets can be purchased online via Webtickets (with payment either online or at a Pick ‘n Pay outlet) or onsite at our Ticket Office or our Self-service Ticket Kiosk or through our recognised partner ticket outlet, CITY SIGHTSEEING SOUTH AFRICA. Cableway tickets bought via any other websites are not valid.

• How long are Cableway tickets valid for?

Cableway tickets, both those bought online and onsite, are valid for 7 days from the selected date of visit (Please note Birthday tickets and Cable Cards have different validity periods). During this 7-day validity period online Cableway tickets can be REFUNDED or RESCHEDULED for another date or UPGRADED to a Fast Track ticket.

• How can I RESCHEDULE, REFUND or UPGRADE my online ticket?

1. Log in to your WEBTICKETS profile
2. Click on MY TICKETS
3. Next to your transaction, select RESCHEDULE, REFUND or UPGRADE

• How can I request a refund on unused online tickets?

1. A refund can be manually processed online via your Webtickets profile
2. Send an email with a barcode number or transaction reference number to refunds@tablemountain.net

• What is the difference between ONLINE and ONSITE CABLEWAY TICKETS?

1. Online Cableway Tickets are purchased via the Webtickets ticketing platform (Tip: You pay less when buying Cableway tickets online!)
2. Onsite Cableway tickets are purchased via our Ticket Office or our Self-service Ticket Kiosk

Added benefits of online tickets:

1. You SAVE money as online tickets cost less than onsite tickets.
2. You already have your ticket in hand, so you join the queue for the cable cars.

• Is there an option to skip the queue?

1. Yes, we offer a Fast Track ticket that allows you to skip the queue and gain direct access to the cable cars.
2. Fast Track tickets can be purchased online or onsite, at a rate of R995 per round trip or R650 per one-way (valid until 30 June 2025).
3. Standard Cableway tickets, whether purchased online or onsite, can also be upgraded to Fast Track.

• Can all Cableway Tickets be purchased online?

No, there are 2 ticket types that are NOT available online:

1. Cableway Birthday Ticket
2. Student Special Ticket

Please note that even though we prefer card payments, cash is also welcome.
