We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual #TakeAHikeDay on Saturday, 16 November 2024. We would like to invite the community to join in the celebrations by enjoying the hiking trails and helping to keep it clean.

This event coincides with Table Mountain’s 13^th anniversary as one of the NEW 7 WONDERS of NATURE. Hikers are encouraged to pick up litter along the hiking trails to support our conservation efforts.

Starting at 7h00 at the foot of the Platteklip Gorge Trail, registered participants will receive water and a waste bag to support their hike and clean-up efforts. Along the way, hikers are encouraged to pick up litter, playing an active role in our efforts to leave it better than we found it.

At the Twelve Apostles Terrace at the Top Station participants can dispose of collected litter in bins provided and will receive a complimentary cable car ride back down the mountain, along with a snack pack, as a thank-you for their contributions to the day.
