Are you planning a trip up to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway this winter? Here’s an important heads-up!

We’re fast approaching our annual maintenance shutdown, which means now is the perfect time to take advantage of our Local is Lekker Special!, It’s available right up until the day before we close!

The Cableway will close for annual maintenance from Monday, 28 July to Sunday, 3 August 2025 and we will re-open on Monday, 4 August 2025, weather permitting.

During the shutdown, all Cableway facilities, including the Top and Lower Stations, restrooms, restaurants, and shops will be closed. However, hiking on Table Mountain is still allowed, with most routes and walkways open. Hikers are reminded to be prepared to walk down as the cable cars will be out of commission during the annual maintenance period.
