On Thursday, 31 July 2025, we took part in the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Career Fair.

It was a privilege to engage with the bright and enthusiastic students of CPUT. We loved the opportunity to share more about who we are, what we do, and the exciting opportunities we offer, especially as we get ready for the busy summer season.

One of the best parts of the day was offering the students our virtual reality (VR) experience. Students got to experience what it is like to ride the Cableway and enjoy the amazing views from the top of Table Mountain. Many students were very curious and excited to learn more about what happens at the mountain and behind the scenes.

We also shared information about the summer jobs that will be opening soon. These jobs are a great way to start a career in tourism, learn new skills, and work with a world-class team at one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

We also reminded students of our Student Special: students, both local and international, pay only R300 per return ticket and R180 one way when they show their valid student card at the Ticket Office (rates valid until 30 June 2026).

The students were full of energy and very excited to hear about all the opportunities available. It was wonderful to see how interested they were in joining us.
