Monday, 15 December 2025 marked a truly special milestone in our history as we proudly welcomed our 33 millionth visitor since we started operating in 1929!

Thabiso Letsoalo from Limpopo was surprised when he was pointed out as our 33 millionth visitor. Thabiso and his partner Ofentse Huma received a special recognition certificate, flowers and a curated gift hamper. Visiting Cape Town for the second time, the milestone made their experience even more memorable.

“It was such a lovely experience, the shock and thrill of the surprise made it even more special. We are having a great time and it’s definitely one of those memories we’ll keep forever. Cape Town is just different and so beautiful compared to where we’re from, which is why we keep coming back,” said Letsoalo.

“Reaching 33 million visitors since the start of operations in 1929 is incredible for TMACC. Welcoming both our 32 and 33 millionth visitors in the same year is truly remarkable. Achieving this milestone in the same month that our Twelve Apostles Terrace was recognised as Africa’s Best MICE Event Venue (in the World MICE Awards) amplifies the significance of this moment for us,” said Wahida Parker, our Managing Director.
