On Sunday, 14 April 2024, 40 climbers from the Mountain Club of South Africa (MCSA) and CityROCK, a local climbing gym, volunteered to partake in the ledge clean-up around the top of Table Mountain.

The group abseiled down the ledges to reach hard-to-reach places, and collected a whopping 168,77kg of litter! The clean-up started at 9h00 and ended 3 hours later, when they enjoyed a lunch pack, courtesy of Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.
