We are proud to announce that the Twelve Apostles Terrace at Table Mountain has been named Africa’s Best MICE Event Venue at the 2026 World MICE Awards for the second year in a row.

The winners were announced on 12 October at a ceremony held at Princess Grand Jamaica. The World MICE Awards recognise excellence in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry.

Located at the summit of Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles Terrace offers a unique open-air setting with beautiful views of Cape Town and the Atlantic Ocean, making it a memorable venue for events.

“We are proud to receive this recognition. Hosting an event on Table Mountain brings people together in an extraordinary natural setting, and this award acknowledges the team behind those events and their commitment to creating memorable experiences for event organisers and their guests.” Said Tracy Mkhize, Managing Director of Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.

The award coincides with Table Mountain Aerial Cableway celebrating its 97th anniversary this month, marking nearly a century of transporting visitors to the summit of Table Mountain, a New 7 Wonder of Nature.

“Cape Town continues to attract leisure and business travellers from around the world. The Twelve Apostles Terrace contributes to the city’s business tourism offering with its distinctive setting for events.” Tracy added.
