You're invited to #TakeAHike with Table Mountain Aerial Cableway!

Did you know that on 17 November 2022, South Africans – along with the rest of the world – celebrate Take A Hike Day?

This year #TakeAHike takes place from 16 - 18 November.

Bring along your loved ones and colleagues to join in on this fun time while working towards a great cause.

Here's what to know:

• Start your hike at Platteklip Gorge, where you will receive a bag to collect any trash you see on your hike up Table Mountain. Look out for our on-site promoters who will assist you at the starting point
• The mountain clean-up will take place from 7:30am to 3pm. All participants will receive a ticket for a free cable car ride down upon presentation of a filled trash bag
• If you’d prefer to hike a different route to Platteklip Gorge, you’re more than welcome to bring your own rubbish bags and collect trash on the way to the Table Mountain summit. You’ll still get a free cable car ride down on presentation of your filled trash bag
• Once on the Table Mountain summit, empty your trash in the allocated bins near the Twelve Apostles Terrace
• Remember to tag us on Instagram and Facebook (@tablemountainca ) and use the hashtag #TakeAHikeWithTableMountain while hiking, to share your adventure
• The last car ride down for hikers will depart from the summit at 5pm.
