Table Mountain is one of the world’s iconic natural wonders, drawing millions of visitors to its slopes every year. The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway now offers a private cable car service to make your next visit extra special.

This offering is ideal for those wishing to have an extra level of social distancing and privacy when hosting their event, special occasion or private group on top of Africa’s leading tourist attraction.

Your experience starts the moment you arrive at Africa’s very own New7Wonders of Nature. Skipping the queues, you will be escorted to the private cable car you will be using exclusively for your return trip. Once inside, you will get to enjoy a breathtaking ride up the mountain and amazing 360-degree views from the top.

• The private cable car package is available to our local and international visitors and can be purchased online. This service is not available from 16 December 2025 - 7 January 2026.

• For visitors wishing to have an extra level of social distancing and privacy when making use of the cable car
• Also for private functions, special events, weddings
• Available for up to 60 visitors per private cable car
• A way for visitors to be fast tracked (skip the queue) and personally taken to the cable car by one of our awesome staff members

• The cost for the exclusive use of a cable car is R71 500, valid from 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026
