If you missed our epic six week shutdown announcement in January this week, we're answering your "When are you closing for your annual maintenance shutdown, Cableway?" question!

The answer: we will be closed for our annual maintenance shutdown for six weeks, from Monday 8 July to Sunday 19 August 2019.

Please bear this in mind when planning your Cableway visit during the winter months.

Some other things to note:

- South Africans celebrating their birthdays during those six weeks may collect their FREE birthday tickets one week before or one week after the shutdown. Please bring along your valid SA ID to claim your ticket.

- All of our facilities, including the Table Mountain Cafe, the WiFi Lounge, the Exit Shop and the restrooms at the summit of Table Mountain will be closed during these six weeks to. If you're hiking up (which we do not recommend in the harsh winter conditions!) please take note.
